This course stresses the importance of attachment, the different attachment styles, and how our attachment style can infer how we will parent our children. Participants will also take an attachment assessment to identify their own attachment styles in the areas of global, maternal, paternal, partner and best friend.
This course describes types of adoption, the adoption process timeline, describes healthy adoptive parents, and discusses infertility’s impact on adoptive parents. Also included in this course is information on how to afford an adoption and a list of resources for funding sources are provided.
