Coaching
Many adoptive parents find themselves in situations they never expected and have very few places to turn. Birth parents can also find that navigating emotions or relationships after placement is complicated. Agencies try very hard to provide post placement support, but many times the problem is beyond the scope of services that are offered, or the issues occur after the agency has closed. Other resources are cost prohibitive. If you have these or other adoption related issues, I can help.
Adoption Education & Support
Adoption is complex for those touched by it. That’s why it is imperative that parents are prepared and continue to receive more education and support. As children become adolescents, it is important that they have a safe place to express themselves. Increasing one’s knowledge, and sharing experiences with like-minded peers can be empowering and improve relationships. And that is my goal!
